Duoth Buom is a dedicated and passionate logistics professional with strong experience in logistics and procurement management. He currently serves as Admin and Logistics at Youth Social Advocacy Team (YSAT) South Sudan, where he plays a key role in coordinating, supervising, and negotiating across all aspects of goods receipt, dispatch, and supply chain management. He is present at all stages of goods receipt and dispatch to supervise the preparation and packaging chain.

At YSAT, Duoth supervises the receipt and dispatch of parcel flows, controls procedures for the entry and exit of products in the storage area, and monitors actual stock levels to ensure they are properly managed. He prepares transport authorisations, monitors disputes, sources suppliers and carriers, and analyses proposed costs. His responsibilities include assisting in the coordination of shipments and deliveries, preparing and processing shipping documents, and communicating with suppliers, carriers, and stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of goods.
He ensures compliance with all relevant regulations and laws, assists in the resolution of logistics issues, and manages procurement processes to support YSAT's operational and programme needs across South Sudan.
Duoth is pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Economics at Juba University, South Sudan — a broadly applicable discipline covering macroeconomics, microeconomics, market systems, and the incentives that inform decision-making. This academic foundation complements his practical logistics expertise and positions him to contribute to YSAT's operational and financial management over the long term.
