Akusa Ben Candiga is a dedicated social worker with over ten years of experience in humanitarian work within the nonprofit sector. He currently serves as Bridge YAW Project Manager at YSAT, where he plays a key role in managing project operations, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring accountability in the use of organisational resources.

At YSAT, Akusa is responsible for preparing monthly project reports and monitoring budgets, with his work directly contributing to the organisation's development and its ability to effectively deliver impactful programmes in the community. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Social Work and Social Administration from Uganda Christian University.

Over the years, he has developed strong expertise in reporting and project management. Known for his integrity, reliability, and strong analytical skills, Akusa is passionate about using his expertise to support mission-driven organisations and ensure that resources are managed responsibly to maximise impact for the communities YSAT serves.

Akusa is committed to continuous learning and regularly updates his knowledge on project management and emerging best practices in the humanitarian sector.
